It has come to my attention that someone has been stealing Deviant Art members art work and selling them at mcm london expo as well as others. Please spread the word and use precautions.

Recently, I was digging through some of my unused art materials, and discovered some 4x6 canvases that I had forgotten about. I had never used them because of their size, and could never think of anything that I could use them for. I happened to glance over at my Beyblade collection and thought to myself, "What the heck. It's not like I can fit much of anything else on something this tiny." I decided to draw my two favourite characters, and as soon as I picked up my paintbrush, I fell in love with the series all over again. I'm not talking about the Metal Masters series that's airing now--I'm talking about the original series. I mean the legendary Bladebreakers team, the traveling around the world just for the sake of finding a strong opponent, and classic bit beasts that we would sit on the edge of our seats waiting for to make their appearance. I've always loved the anime more than any other, but I haven't watched it in a while and forgot just how much it meant to me. After getting a taste of it again through painting, I'm hoping to do more Beyblade art in the near future...and of course, start a Beyblade watching marathon! Hmm...I wonder if I should make another YouTube video as well...we'll see!

Sometimes, in startles me how unbelievably rude some people on the internet are. For the most part, everybody I interact with online on this website, YouTube, and others, are pleasant and friendly, and I enjoy talking and sharing thoughts you. But rarely, there's a random troll out there that's seems to be out to tear into anybody they run into for no reason at all, and doesn't care how hurtful they may be. I made a simple mistake commenting on a picture today that I thought didn't have a filter on it, and forgetting that I had my account set to show pictures with a mature filter on it, mentioned this to the artist. They responded with all sorts of unprovoked verbal abuse, calling me things such as "idiot", "geek" and other things that bother me too much to mention. I wonder, are people so hurtful online because they can't see the face of the person they're addressing? Or has society in general just digressed that much? I'm just going to throw it out there, everybody...if somebody online says something that you don't agree with, that you think is stupid, or that you just don't like, please handle it with some dignity. I'm not intending to sound corny, but you could really hurt somebody's feelings and their self esteem when all that could be going on is a simple error in communication. Not to mention, you only make yourself look like a tool when you go into vulgar rants in comments. Say what you mean to, but be polite about it. Or, just let it go. Turn the other cheek, as it were. Let's have a healthy online community!

Well, after a crappy summer, what with the problems at work, homework taking up all of my free time, and losses in the family, I'm finally back at school and am working to move forward. Since I enjoyed making an acrylic painting of Venom a while back, I'm thinking of painting a few more Spider-Man characters! I think I see Gobby and Spidey in the near future! Also, I've been experimenting with a new cartoon style that I've been having a lot of fun with. It's great to have time to do art again, and I have so many ideas my brain just might leak out of my ears. So, I can't wait to get to work!

You know what sucks about this summer? Between summer classes and work, I have zero free time. I love my job, but my co-workers form cliques and are downright rude. You'd think that the whole "popular kids bullying the nerd" concept would stop after high school, but no. Ironic I guess, since summer is supposed to be a fun time. I think what bugs me the most is that I'm not getting much time to draw. I'm hoping that when I get a day or two to chill, I can do one or two new Spidey drawings or paintings. Sigh...well, I'm sorry for complaining, but I had to vent a little. Now I shall go and watch some Simpsons episodes to cheer up. Yay for Mr. Burns!

Hey there, I'm new to this deviant art thing. Visiting this website has been a regular part of my daily routine for a long time now, so I figured, what they hey. If I'm on here so much looking at artwork that my friends post and browsing parodies of my favourite games and shows, I may as well become a member. I won't be posting all of my art on here for various reasons, but I'm looking forward to sharing some of it with all of you and being a part of the deviant art community. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to it. Cheers!
